I Love a Mystery (1945) felt like a mystery too intricate for a B-production. Might have worked with a genius director and a budget which could afford to visually go more detailed into this story, but within a standard programmer format, it didn't really work beyond feeling that they at least tried to do something a little different compared to their ordinary mysteries.
