Katie is trying to make it in the cutthroat world of modeling. When she innocently accepts an offer to have new photos taken for her portfolio, the experience quickly turns into an unthinkable nightmare of rape, torture, and kidnapping. Should you see I Spit on Your Grave 2? Did you like the first film (either the original or remake) and felt the desire to see essentially the exact same thing? Raise your hand in silence; I don't want to hear from you. Go ahead and enjoy. This is a tasteless and pointless movie with less on its mind than that of a newt. It is disgusting and a terrible thing to watch. It looks cheap, it's predictable, it has no "characters" to speak of, and I couldn't find a single scene that is worth watching.

This movie made my stomach churn. You have to sit through almost an hour of a girl being brutally raped and tortured before you get to any part of the movie you actually can stand watching. Jemma Dallender was excellent in this, but man, what a hard role to play. I did like the revenge story. It reminded me of Kill Bill but Dallender was a lot more brutal than Thurman. This movie will make you just hate evil humans in general. Just a sick and twisted world out there. Hostel-type gore.

The acting isn't all that terrible but the plot is stupid on so many levels. The whole movie could never even happen. Being stunned in the face at the beginning of the film would've ended things. Also, none of the other things could've happened as they did either. Looking past that the movie just plods along slowly and for far too long.

Clear very early it was even worse than the first so dicked around playing scales and stuff through the rest. Even my home-made soundtrack couldn't save it though, the religious nonsense highlighting just how desperate and poor it all was.

A step-down from the first SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE remake, which wasn't all that great to begin with, but I remember managed to capture some of the pathos of the original and opted to make its vengeful heroine into some kind of avenging angel from beyond the grave, which worked. This one's just a gross-out. It's clear that nobody really understood the material, if that's even possible. Even when it attempts to address trauma is serious way, it's just laughable. They lost our good will.

The section in which the female lead is kidnapped, tortured and raped lasts for around two-thirds of the film, leaving us with only the last third to revel in her revenge. Dallander is generally decent in the lead role, but some dodgy line delivery lets her down. The rest of the cast are astoundingly bad, which lets the entire film down.

I would be tempted to say that by now, they're really just spitting on Meir Zarchi's grave, if he weren't still alive to co-produce this. I feel the remake's sequel has gotten to the point where if you're a sadist, you'll revel in the revenge part - it certainly caters to that. I love violent cinema but I don't enjoy it as much on that yipee level, so I actually preferred the first part - where the victim is "worthy" and the violence is portrayed as wrong (certainly not as divinely sanctioned).

One of the best Movies in this genre! Jemma Dallender was an unknown actor for me but it's not often I see amazing performances like this. She was absolutely fantastic! This Movie was very disturbing and grotesque and it's certainly not a film to watch With you girlfriend :) Great story and a pretty good ending! Even better than the original! Hope they will make another one!
