I Stand Condemned

Can't complain about the quality of actors here with the British gentleman Laurence Olivier and French heavyweight Harry Baur on opposite sides of a girl and gambling debt. The movie feels too slow and dated to be very good. A bit too romanced the way it's filmed. And when the production is that pale there is little the greats can do to save it. Fans of the actors might still enjoy it, but there is little else to look for here.
