I got to have sex with someone because this movie was boring. Bonus point.

Ok for those of you who are loyal readers of my reviews (all 2 of you) I went back and finished this movie. The ending is pretty sad with the tie around his head reminding him of his kid (just don't ask). Good for you since you went about as far as you possibly could without cheating on your wife. It is still a horrible, degrading and uncomfortable film to watch with others (even for me which is saying something). Stick to the stand-up Chris or more Madagascar fims.

I didn't hate it, and certainly wouldn't call it "unwatchable". The first half is more exciting than the second, though. I'm a little curious to watch the original.

At the beginning of this movie, Chris Rock narrates that this is a story about a man who is bored. What we aren't told is that by watching this movie we will also be bored. It moves slowly. There really is nothing happening at all.

Terrible movie, I walked out halfway though and demanded my money back. Maybe I didn't demand my money back, BUT I SURE THOUGHT ABOUT IT!

A genre mess that is almost unwatchable.

Just a warning: This is not a romcom. It's not a drama or a comedy either, since it's NEVER fucking funny. EVER. The 'dramatic' portion drags on and on without any apparent point. Never ever watch this piece of monkey shit.

Not bad as Chris Rock tries to do more actual acting and brings less of the Chris Rock as stand-up comic to the role but still the film can be infuriating and kills a lot of good will.

If there was any other entertainment on the airplane I wouldn't have watched this. That being said, I still managed to do 20 minutes of organic chemistry homework mid-flight before I grudgingly decided that Chris Rock being racist was better than backside attacks.

The most shocking thing about I Think I Love My Wife isn't the language, the sex, or the racial humor. It's the fact that it's not a funny movie. At all.

A solid film for Chris Rock.
