A wonderfully delightful vision of a post-genocidal society, I could simply watch Peter Dinklage collect rotting bodies and disinfect houses for weeks. This film's creators supposed others might not feel the same way, and so decided to add an awkward love story and then cap it off with an even more awkward ending. Oh, well. Should have stuck to the disinfectant, Peter.

An understated slice of post-apocalyptic life, feeling quite austere in style, performance and plotting. Dinklage and Fanning were good to watch, Dinklage in particular putting in a quietly effective, and generally quiet, performance. That's maybe indicative of the film as a whole; it all feels a bit subtle, controlled, quiet. That said, it is made with enough care that it just about gets away with it. Decent, watchable, but perhaps slightly underwhelming.

A reclusive dwarf, a gorgeous young girl, and the end of civilization, what could go wrong? This movie was at times excruciatingly slow. It helped a lot that Elle Fanning and Peter Dinklage were prominent characters. Paul Giamatti and Charlotte Gainsbourg characters were poorly written. The plot and characters are underdeveloped, and the action is not great, but the weird story will stick with you. Good music and production quality. Just worth watching.

Good looking film, as one would expect from a cinematographer who is fresh into her jump to director with this, her feature film debut. Cast is solid enough, but the beats come off flat much of the time, making the slow pace a bit hard to take.

It's a mostly good movie. The cinematography is great, as well as the atmosphere. Dinklage and Fanning do an amazing job with what material they're given. I really liked the two of them together. That said, I think they could have definitely explored the premise more as well as the characters. Because of this the plotting is rather lacking, and while I was never bored per se there were certain stretches of the film where I found myself wondering if they could have done more with the screen time.

Interesting but it felt like parts were missing. Still worth a look.

I Think We're Alone Now is a forgettable outing with a paper thin premise that desperately needed to be elevated by the characters, cast and writing. Unfortunately it isn’t, and the audience is left with a dimly lit slog. There were things I liked about the film; like Dinklage's self-chosen exile, the idea of rejecting a false utopia; these things were just too few and too far between, and the film just doesn’t pull it off.

Excellent cinematography, superb acting, and an interesting take on cliched premise of "last man on Earth." I am a sucker for anything post apocalyptic, but this is on a par with great low budget movies like A Man and His Dog. Loved the slow burn. Most end of the world movies aspire to capturing a mood and world as realistically as this movie does, but fail. I Think We're Alone Now is the film those productions aspired to be. Loved it.

This movie starts out interesting but never actually goes anywhere. It's like a really pretty fish in a bowl. Nice to look at, but dull. Also, if you're going to be kinda pretentious don't have such a goofy ending. You can't have 85 minutes of nothing and then shovel in some lazy symbolism in the last 7 minutes.

How did a film with these four actors together manage to be bad?

While the premise is interesting, it was always going to be difficult to make it into a full-length narrative. Featuring solid performances, and a very minimalist, slow-paced story. It's not terrible by any means, but it's also not an exciting film and that ultimately kind of peters out.

Mostly only two characters and it's compelling and interesting. That's tough to pull off.
