A mellow rural drama, and while the religious tones are a central pat of story, it doesn't force the agenda. Instead embraces the importance of being honest and friendly and William Lundigan & Susan Hayward do a real nice job of inviting you into their life adjusting to their new parish. Nothing over the top, and for the most part cozy and fair.
