If Winter Comes (1947) is not a bad movie, but there's so many little things I disliked that it prevented me from loving the experience. Like the rubbish role Angela Lansbury got, the terrible Hollywood makeover they gave Deborah Kerr, and the story in itself wasn't very noble. I was definitely not rooting for Walter Pidgeon. Wasn't the film for me, even if it had that polished MGM touch.
