I can't figure out what baits people in this movie, I indeed do, the fictional wormhole, but it is just a mediocre idea.

I knew the Koreans liked their schmaltz, but I didn't know they liked it served extra-dreary with a side order of non-linear and free refills of soppy ballads.

Sue me, I actually preferred the remake.

bittersweet, beautiful and haunting cinematography, mellow. miles better than the american remake (the lake house).

A sweet romance with an intriguing little twist. The script is cleverly crafted, the actors all do a good job, and the photography is a beautiful palette of color (and Ji-hyun Jun is once again absolutely radiant). On the downside, the film often feels like a Hallmark card come to life, with soft piano music, people staring into sunsets, and just a little too much sentimentality.

Sickeningly sentimental romance with a touch of sci-fi. I won't lie, it made me want to rip my head off. I shudder remembering that obnoxious soft piano music, cute fluffy puppy and sunsets over the sea. I would rate it lower, but there is American remake starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reaves. Even imagining this same movie with Bullock and Reaves is too traumatic.
