Very pretty, little else going for it. I rather like the scene with the humans romancing, which relates them rather effectively to other animals.

Seen favourably, this movie calls us to attend to our surroundings at a more languorous pace than usual today, to see the beauty and glory of the natural and everyday world. Less generously, the choice of images might be thought to be not above a certain easy prettiness and folksiness. In short, it is either a calmer, more meditative precursor to KOYAANISQATSI, or else a variation that is too soft, too gentle, and lacking the power of Reggio's work. In any case, very pleasant cinematography.
