The marketing of this film didn't do it justice. There are great performances from everyone involved, and the story is simple, but emotionally rich and interesting. Seeing it in a theater with a group from the local retirement community made it a blast.

Most of it's a good bit deeper than the fluffy preview. Yes, it involves older people, with one primary exception; but that doesn't mean some of them don't have anything to say to most of us who'll be going where they are now. For instance, one thing we could learn learn would be how how to heed Franklin's warning, "Some (many?) people die at 25 but aren't buried until 75". Franklin employed his extended longevity better than any other example I can think of. --The ending was perfect.--

Very insignificant, but nice. Cool cast.

Was very sweet for a while, but felt it drifted out into nowhere toward the end, which I guess was part of the comfort zone of the aging widow, going back to what where we started.

Charming and funny with a bit of drama. Great to see older actresses making great films.

The second stop on my "2015 Movies Featuring Sam Elliott in Supporting Roles" mini marathon...this was nice! I will watch anything where Martin Starr plays some variation of the character he always plays. Yeah, Martin Starr is in this and he is VERY Martin Starr, as always. Oh, and I almost forgot the other casting coup...Rhea Perlman!!!! Seriously, Rhea Perlman is in this, no shit.

Pleasantly somber. It swings elegantly between mournful ruminations on death, and dopey Fruity Pebble infused escapades. Bitter, but sweet.

At times brisk and whimsical, other times heavy and quiet, and the tones are managed extremely well. Good performances across the board, smart, and heartfelt.

Basic character study film. Sweet but not the most engrossing plot.
