Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks

Undeniably stupid, and not as entertaining as the previous movie, but once again I stress that this must be watched with a group of people while inebriated. It elevates itself significantly towards the end once the body count starts escalating. Unfortunately, ILsa, as well as most of the other badass powerful women featured, kind of get the shaft at the end. IE, a movie made by men, for sure. But I watched it with a group of women and they had a good time. So who knows?

more nastyness from the ilsa crew. if you liked the first you'll probably like this one. i'll admit she was better as a nazi but this one still has much of the same sleazyness. Plenty of torture thats so bad its funny, lots of gore, probably more nudity than the first, and what makes it all good is all the actors give solid performances and actually care about the movie despite it being so sleazy.

Plot is more complicated and - you probably already guessed it -therefore dumber than in the first one. Thorne is just terrible in this one, but maybe she's just mad about how Ilsa (through the power of good ol' U. S. of A. dick) gets turned into a lovesick little girl halfway through. I know it certainly had me peeved. More torture. The thing with the eye was pretty creative. More sex. No actual sexiness to be found anywhere. I will say this though, some of those bellydancers were pretty good.

In exchange for an upgrade in set design, direction and even acting, this sequel sacrifices the gleeful jaw-dropping misanthropy of the original. Very campy, very sleazy, but in the end it's all kinda boring. Not helping matters is that Dyanne Thorne manages to keep her top on for most of the film.

This is the only Ilsa movie I've seen and I can hardly even remember the sexual torture. I mainly remember really bad pieces of dialogue such as (she:) "The lover has turned cold" (he in response:) "Ice cold".

Excellent for a movie night, love the stylised 70's crash zooms and tits.
