It didn't leave me feeling AS nauseated as the Nazi one, so I guess at least that represents SOME improvement.

The last film of the "Ilsa" series of Women in Prison flicks starring Dyann Thorne and her massive cans. This one concerns a woman trying to infiltrate a mental hospital/sex clinic to find out what had happened to her sister who disappeared from the place the year before. Of course it's got plenty of nudity, torture, sex and violence. A decent flick with an absolutely vicious ending. Lina Romay is sexy as hell.

I shouldn't be too hard on this since I knew what I was getting into - & maybe that's why it felt less repulsive than She Wolf? Some scenes were far easier to stomach seeming either relatively benign (the pins) or South Park gross (the butt cleaning). Still, there was a group rape scene I had to FF through and an egregious burning scene (I'll spare you the specifics). Thorne certainly makes a great hot domme, but the tortures ruin that for me. & why the hell is Jess Franco praised so much?

easilly the worst of the Ilsa series. The only real saving factor for this movie is that there are very few moments where there is not a completly naked woman on screen. Besides that there is not much at all for gore and very unimaginative torture scenes. It also lacks the camp factor and interesting supporting characters of the first two movies. It might work good as a women in prison film but as a Ilsa film it fails.

Total crap. The best part is seeing Jesus Franco himself act in the film, mainly because it turns out Mr. Eurosleaze looks like an English professor

Also being less grim that it's predecessors yet none the less sleazy, there's a tense and violent atmosphere throughout the film. Franco simply knows how sleaze is done and although not featuring as much graphic violence as the first Ilsa installment the violence shown within this picture is pretty harsh just on a different level. Featuring Francos trademark out of focus-shots and the Queen of all damsels in distress Lina Romay this is one of Francos best movies.

This doesn't really count as a proper Ilsa movie -- although to be fair I'd be hard-pressed to think of a franchise with looser canon -- but this entry even seems to fail for what it is, which is a garden-variety sexploitation romp. Slow, soft and ponderous in all the wrong places and all the wrong ways. I've dug Franco's material before, but not here.
