Imaginary Heroes

Sigourney Weaver is terrific here, making sense of a silly script that can't decide what movie it wants to rip off, "Ordinary People" or "American Beauty".

A remarkable film! I loved it all

Nice, quiet flick with some very good performances.

It's a poor man's American Beauty. Still, it's much more than just watchable.

This sensitive take on the fucked-up-family-with--secrets is maybe a little too low-key for its own good -- despite some good work from Weaver, Hirsch and Daniels, who really do work hard, the characters never really come to life, and the loose ends end up, not as mysteries to ponder, but as missed opportunities for drama.

Really good film, excellent acting.
