Funny as hell !!!

Werner Herzog presents "A Moment of Innocence" in the form of a Syfy channel original movie.

No doubt this was a truly entertaining mockumentary. I loved the whole premise of it and Herzog himself did a great job acting.

Werner Herzog is a national treasure. Not my nation, sure, but a nation beyond a doubt. Herzog really brings it.

In spite of some cheesy moments most of it is somehow hilarious, especially the first 30 minutes before any of the novelty wears off.

While it doesn't quite reach the zenith its title suggests, Incident at Loch Ness is a fun mockumentary that examines and, in some cases, criticizes, the film industry.

Hugely enjoyable and very funny. As an artistic type myself, I especially loved the tug-of-war between artist vs. philistine--brilliant. Viva Werner Herzog!

So weird that it's a lot of fun

Unique and unexpectedly hilarious.

This is a funny and ridiculous film; it's nice to see Werner in this context. It seems like a movie made among friends that had a good time and that shows but also makes it a bit sloppy, in the end enjoyable

A very clever idea that unfortunately fails. First of all, none of these people are actors, and it shows. Doing a mockumentary like this requires a delicate balance of comedy and authenticity -- no one involved is capable of pulling off either one. Second, it's just not written well. Still, it was watchable (though extremely predictable) and I have to give points for effort.

A great joke at Werner Herzog and Zak Penn's expense but one that went on for much too long. The last 30 minutes of the movie or so display a predictable humor.

Cute. It sorta loses the initial credibility by some point, when you can start to sense it straining, but all in all a fun movie, certainly recommended for Herzog fans - just don't expect anything heavy.

Very narrow target group for this one, which is admirable in itself. If you have no familiarity with Werner Herzog, this will probably seem like just another low-budget found-footage movie. If you're enough of a Herzog fan to have watched not only his movies but the behind-the-scenes stuff and the odd commentary track... This is comedy GOLD. "At least we're not dragging the boat over a hill..." "WHAT WAS ZAT?"

I don't care what others say, I thought it was well-written and well-acted. Not Oscar-worthy but who actually watches the Oscar winning movies anyway?
