Incompreso

A riveting story of the British Consul in Florence and his two little sons as they struggle to deal with the death of their wife/mother. Disappointingly, the film's conclusion takes a sharp downturn, throwing sensibility to the wind and ending in a shamelessly and ruinously manipulative finale. I'll be generous and take only ten points off for that. There was so much I liked about the rest of it that I want to pretend I didn't see those last 15 minutes.
