First, let me just state that I've never played the games or read the comics although I know the storyline. That being said, I don't get all the hate, this was a solid and yes heavily abridged version of the story but it does its job well. It entertained me while getting me even more invested in the storyline to the point where I want to read the comics. The voice acting was solid even though I was slightly disappointed they didn't get the legendary voice actors to fill the roles.

This was lovely for about 3/4 of it, even with some uneven voice acting. It needed to be a little longer in order to go deeper into the ideas/plot. But this would have been better had the last 1/4 of it not been so disappointing. That doesn't mean that it's bereft of some decent scenes within that 1/4, but it definitely weakens the experience. But ultimately, I thought this was a compelling story. Doesn't stand among the best animated DC movies, but it's a lot of fun with some genuine emotion.

I liked the core idea behind the Injustice game, but the gameplay just wasn't that fun to me, so I never finished it. For that reason, this did interest me. There definitely seems to be some differences from the game's story and the movie's. Some things I think work better the way the game handled them, and some things work better in the movie. That being said, it was just okay. Good beginning and ending, but I got a little bored in the middle.

I definitely enjoyed the first half of Injustice more than the second half where Superman turns; it feels both predictable and underdeveloped. At times it does feel like the Avengers, particularly Civil War, put possibly only because Marvel has defined the genre. However the conflict between the camps is better explored here, even if the conclusion isn't as well-executed. The voice acting and animation are good. Nightwing and Harley were the best characters in this.

Superman breaks bad, Batman and co try to stop him. It's clear that in another source (it's adopted from a videogame) with more time to develop the plot and characters this could be a very intriguing story, alas in this short film the plot and characters are underdeveloped. Still it passes the time okay for 78 minutes it lasts.

A decent adaptation that's solid but not exceptional. The main problem is that Superman is clearly wrong in this conflict and becomes far too murderous to be anything but a overbearing psychopath, leaving the viewer no choice but to side with Batman, denying the story the moral conflict that it could have had.

Superman grows more bitter than Batman with the demise of Lois Lane and the rest of the gang has to stop his destructive ways. Interesting story. Doesn't reach super levels when it comes to the conclusion, but at least Harley Quinn's pointless cameos livened things up.
