Aspiring artist Bruno kills his uncle after his abusive father dies from drinking. While struggling to think of a place to dump the body, he meets the traumatised Elise and they immediately bond in an odd way. Meanwhile, Elise's ex-psychiatrist turned stepmother freaks out over the growing relationship and loses her grip of reality.
