Intelligent and with message. James Franco wanted to make something different, to expand Cruising. Val Lauren was a perfect "Al Pacino". He was in distress mentally as well although he supported Franco's idea nicely. Though Cruising was not that successful, I did not like much the editing of Travis Mathews either.
