Potentially intriguing spin on ALICE IN WONDERLAND/WIZARD OF OZ finds Gale calling in a few casting favours, but all largely for naught - this lacks a compelling through-line and even a reason to care about Marsden's "rich-kid" tribulations (how *dare* his father buy him a red Convertible for his birthday!) Episodic structure is tough going at first, but at least starts to gain some rhythm during the home stretch; Oldman, Lloyd and Cooper give back much more to the film than it gives them.

A great, underrated movie. The journey is more important than the desination, and it's hard to not see elements of Joseph Campbell's hero in Marsden. The character development is subtle, but impressive.

Benzerine cok zor rastlanacak nadide bir film. Abzurt ogeleri bu kadar cok barindirip boylesine iyi ve dengeli bir film ortaya cikarmak zor olsa gerek.

Interstate 60 will definitely appeal to people who like smart independent films with lots of humorous characters and especially for fans of "The Twilight Zone" style of stories.

An interesting idea with very poor executing, mainly in the writing. The main character is a Mary Sue who never does anything wrong and doesn't learn anything over the course of the film (other than that he was right all along). The plot meanders through different contrivances without much of an overall point, and the attempts at cleverness along the way fall flat. Chris Cooper, Kurt Russell, and Christopher Lloyd all give good performances but can't save the film.

there is a deja vu about this movie. I haven't seen it before but it feels so familiar...

I can't believe this ends up being kind of good. It starts off bad and stupid and the beginning has the feel of a Nickelodeon movie. Then somehow it slowly transforms into this weird alt reality coming of age character drama that feels like a mix between The Twilight Zone and Are You Afraid of the Dark with a few swear words and sex jokes. Cyclops did pretty well.

Good idea but could have been a lot better. Also, James Marsden is a terrible actor.

Some interesting ideas here and some of it comes together. The bad: The “Lauren” episode comes off as a total cringe fest. James Marsden’s acting The script treatment of the MCs gf The Good: Michael J Fox cameo Some of the philosophy Only product that has really captured a Twilight Zone feeling since Serling and many talented people have tried Overall…I give it a thumbs up…

Interesting and entertaining, only slightly thought provoking. Two big shortcomings with Interstate 60 are it’s identity crisis of genre (feels like a comedy, but mostly isn’t), and the structure of the film making it hard to get attached to the “story”. It’s pretty unique though. Oldman and Cooper are standouts, Fox, Lloyd and Russell have nice small roles, and Marsden makes a nice lead. The scene with Amy Jo Johnson is great, if you don’t see the film, watch that scene on Youtube.

A bit too clean of an ending, but it was pretty interesting. Didn't care for the filmmaker's preference for "motel art" but it is what it is.

Okay, I admit. It's a bit cheesy, but I really like this movie. One of Oldman's best characters.

Wow, what a truly horrible movie. After watching this, all I could think is that Zemeckis must have been the real genius behind Back to the Future and that Gale was just some fraud basking in the giant's shadow.

A mixed bag of a film; parts are excellent and funny and intriguing, but others are sophomoric and feel incomplete, as if they needed another round of rewriting. Still, it's a memorable film that is best compared to "The Twilight Zone" movie in that it's a series of "out there" stories that don't necessarily go together.

Mostly stupid and pretentious look at relationships in a surreal world with leprechauns and magic. The town full of lawyers was so lame. It would have been much better if it had all been some kind of a dream. Not nearly as clever as I am sure the writers thought they were being. Many of the silly plot points were stretched to the point of ridiculousness. Another movie destroyed by bad writing and lousy direction.

Back to Pee Wee's Big Future Fish Adventure... (or something) This is full of crazy coots and terrible tunes (excepting the nods to BttF, I mean... the myriad references to that particular tour of time are a treat -- musical and otherwise). Kurt Russell, Christopher Lloyd, and Chris Cooper are quite a lot of fun here as is good ol' Gary Oldman. It frequently misses in its attempts to philosophize, but I can't say I didn't enjoy at least some of this ridiculous ride.

This film really reminded me of Big Fish with Billy Cruddup. It's not as well delivered, but it's really got something to it.

Did not care for Marsden's performance, but Oldman, Lloyd and Cooper do their best in this tale of questionable morality. Rich boy didn't like the color of his free car? Girlfriend tests him by pretending to be in a lower socioeconomic group? He passed! He would never date anyone of such low class!

Had some fairly memorable and funny moments, and some surprising cameos. Overall the story isn't anything too special and explains why it hasn't become that big of a hidden gem.
