way too talkative for my tastes...

Leconte's psychological nonthriller (the Bernard Herrmann-esque music and the visual allusions to Rear Window are red herrings, and the frequently jostled camerawork is the furthest thing from Hitchcock) goes from one improbability to another: an abstracted thirty-something woman walks through the wrong door and tells her innermost troubles to a tax lawyer instead of a psychoanalyst, and, when he points out her mistake at their third session, she continues to visit him all the same.

The shooting is good, actors do they stuff, the story is worth for the movie. But why it have to be so darn boring! The director does not reach any magnetism between two or in a story at all.

Usually I dig Leconte but this one just doesn't make it

Really great and talented crew and actors are involved to make this movie. And its not bad movie. It has strong fetish vibe but less sex than in hospitals coronavirus ward. With deleting some scenes and adding different musical score, this film could be much better.

Confidências muito íntimas estreava há 20 anos no Festival de Berlin. Um dos filmes sobre psicanálise mais insanos que vi na vida. AMEI. É psicanálise sim, porque ele estava fazendo supervisão. Rá! Trata a transferência e contratransferencia de forma brilhante, ao final quando ela é finalmente permitida a deitar no divã (isso leva algum tempo na análise normal), é ele que tem a dizer. Que coisa linda esse filme. YTS.
