Instantly forgettable. The film is boringly formulaic and it's a formula we've all seen about a million times. I remember it's about dogs racing. Points given for decent technical filmmaking endeavours - camera, set pieces, dog training, decent acting. Otherwise it's a waste of time.
Decent enough kinda underdog sports movie with the sport here being dogsled racing through old timey snowy Canada/Minnesota. Suuuuper predictable though; no beats or scenes or plot aspects that you won’t see coming a mile away.
When Will Stoneman's father dies, he takes it upon himself to enter a cross-country dogsled race to win the money so he can take care of his mother and their land. Little does he know, he is in for the most grueling journey of his life.
