1 of only 2 movies I've seen that have patiently listened to me explain that I love B-movies and that I have a vast knowledge of schlock cinema, only to laugh in my face and present me with immoral grindhouse insanity that rivals anything outside of the names being tossed around at users in a political forum. The other movie was Black Candles, which I preferred (it went goat to girl instead of guy to goat). A possible third would be Love Actually. All those emotions spilled around. Disgusting.

A perverse romance filmed as romantic perversion.

A couple from London arrive on the tiny Greek island of Mykonos seemingly for a holiday, but it is quickly revealed that they are a pair of sex crazed psycho killers on the run from the law. Nasty little piece of exploitation that runs the gamut of sexual excesses...voyeurism, sadism, bestiality, rape (male and female), golden showers, incest, you name it. Fucked up movie with a few strange turns and a great ending. Features the goofiest pair of hippie rapists you're ever likely to see.

One of the most depraved, mean-spirited, and nihilistic films I've seen. I'm not totally adverse to tasteless cinema (some of Troma's features have it down as an art), but this fails at black humor and satire -it just wallows joyfully in vile and unrepentant cruelty and expects the audience to share in that enjoyment. I guess it's kind of impressive how offensive it can be with tame gore effects and mediocre acting, but that's hardly a basis for recommendation.

A "tick-the-box" exercise in how many atrocities can be packed into a brief running time. Like so many of the UK 80s "video nasties", it all comes off as a bit tame. Perhaps it was too sunny? The Greek island location provides a bright backdrop for the antics of our two lovable scamps. The script is dire, and the performances are pretty ropey. It's largely quite dull, but livens up a bit for a suitably bizarre ending. One for "nasty" completists and fans of goat rape only, I reckon.

I couldn't stop watching this. Whenever something happened, I thought "Ok, that was fuct up. There's nowhere else for this film to go." And then it did. It just gets crazier, weirder & more perverse as it goes on. It really does have it all.

Greece's entry for the Video Nasties list presents itself as a stylish and nihilistic story of a homicidal couple who go on a rampage on a Greek island, but ends up being a string perversity without any sense of drive to it. There's nudity, violence, and inappropriate interaction with a goat, but it ends up being redundant and tedious to sit through without an idea or story to push it along. The director went on to better things when he was splicing American B-movies with his brand of oddness.

Liked this better than I remembered. Not particularly well-made, but interesting & perverse.

This movie is known more for it's reputation than anything else. The film is pretty vile and tries to shock and revolt the viewer. I found that the film fail due to the fact that the acting, directing, story and music were so bad and the film was so over long that I was more bored than disturbed and I was just waiting for the movie to finally end.

A very weak film-making effort. Deluded story about a couple holidaying on Mykonos who keep luring the locals into sex traps and murdering them in implausible ways. All of the action scenes are scrappily edited together from poor footage of all the wrong angles at all the wrong times, and cutting away every time a shot would be difficult or cost money. The filler scenes are a bore too. A total lack of film craft. The only thing the director was good at was convincing women to get naked on film.

Nico does have good sense of mis en scene, so at least competent directed. His frequent as of wide angle lenses distorting the view heightens the twistedd mood. But he has absolutely no clue have to tell a story and edit a movie together coherently. This feels like a bunch of random scenes, that are only loosely held together by a plot about a couple on a killing spree. Those scenes seem only meant to sexual and violently shock and offers nothing of interest or insight.

Top badass moment? That goat certainly found out the meaning of badass. A couple from London arrive on a boring Greek isle where hardly anyone seems to be Greek and proceed to tick off absolutely everything on the director’s list of stuff people find offensive. I’m guessing Expedia didn’t come up with their itinerary. Unintentionally funny at times, the actress is cute in a 60’s way and it’s technically okay. 1 cat, 1 decapitation (and actually it's a pretty good one) and no chainsaws.

Very different from Mastorakis' later films. This is a grim piece of exploitation a'la Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It gets a bit predictable and repetitious after a while; as if they are going through a list of taboos one by one. Beautiful Mykonos landscapes and white stone houses create a stark contrast for all the on-screen violence and sleaze.
