It's in the Blood

Some good ideas and capable acting performances that are nevertheless marred by this film's insistence on leaning too heavily on bromidic tropes and heavy-handed symbolism. In better directorial hands this could have easily been a powerful psycho-drama on the level of Antichrist. As it is, it's not an unremarkable film, but it is nevertheless very flawed.
