Johnny Knoxville -- the original Jackass himself -- returns after a long hiatus and subjects himself to all-new stunts involving wild animals, dangerous heights and other perils guaranteed to do him bodily harm. "Jackass" regulars Bam Margera and Steve-O also endure their share of punishment in this collection of stomach-churning, don't-ever-try-these-at-home acrobatics that time and again blur the line between hilarious and tasteless.

To me, Jackass founded the YouTube-generation's lust for pain. We who strive to find that unknown, hilarious YouTube-video that we can share with friends. This film is a farewell and tribute to that. It's fun, impressive and absolutely disgusting (don't eat before you see it). But overwhelming stunts and groce stupidities are definitely not enough to justify the making of this film. Old Jackass-fans will love it. The rest will wonder why we didn't take a YouTube-night on the couch.

You either find this stuff funny or you don't. I do. These guys deserve alot of credit for always trying to be creative and original about their brand of idiocy & stupidly risking their necks for entertainment. I'm no fan of reality show a--holes but these guys are never mean-spirited & save their worst nastiness for themselves. They deserve every penny they get.

Every time I hear about an NFL player missing games because of turf toe, or seeing a player unable to walk off the field after what looked like a minor fall, I'm reminded of Johnny Knoxville getting flipped by a bull and hopping up like he slipped at a trampoline park.

I dunno how you're supposed to review a movie wherein Will Oldham aka Bonnie "Prince" Billie is a fake gorilla trainer. But I laughed a lot more than at the shitty comedies where like the guy meets a girl and you are supposed to not know if it's gonna work but it always fucking does and they have some mishaps or something but whatever pretty much dudes pissin on dudes is way better than that because those movies give you a distorted and flawed sense of the way romance works and Jackass doesn't.

Either I've outgrown them (I doubt it) or they're getting old and running out of ideas. The film needed to be edited much more tightly, far too much time was spent on set up and more time was devoted to showing people laughing or puking than the stunts themselves. More variety and more quick one-off stunts as were displayed in the credits would have helped this immensely. I laughed, but not nearly as much as I did at their last two efforts.

If there's anything that deserves the use of Phantom high-speed cameras, it's dudes getting splashed with water and then punched in the face. Honestly, I think slapstick's a dying breed of comedy and we have to take what we can get. All the pain gags are far more entertaining than the gross ones, but I have to say, it's a sick kind of wonder to witness something so repulsive that other people in the room start vomiting.

This should have its own special viewing room at MoMA. The best use of 3D in film. Watching Bam get it at the end, after spending the film pranking everyone is beautiful. Not enough people talk about how well-paced these films are. Well, you know what, bud? I am.

Writing a mini-review of this movie is, obviously, as idiotic as scoring it is arbitrary. With that I mean: if you know Jackass, you pretty much know which camp you'll fall into. To that I should add where I'm coming from... I usually have very mixed feelings toward these guys. I respect them as stuntmen, at the same time hating how obnoxious and infantile they are. For me, the worst thing about the show is the gross-out stuff which is why this movie isn't for me. I liked the 3D and the slow-mo.

I either out grew this stuff or it just wasn't funny. Doesn't really have too many memorable gags like 2 did. I almost feel bad for them, realizing they are still doing this, but then remembered they are all millionaires and could really care less. Also Steve O looks like he's on meth.

You know if you'll like it or not so that's not the issue. The issue is I think this one was lacking compared to the others. Maybe it's because they were older and didn't want to do as much stuff, or maybe it was because half of it was just slo-mo/staged stunt stuff to show off the 3-D. It almost loses some of it's allure when they get overly technical. Half of the fun of it is because it just feels like guys in their backyard doing stupid shit to make themselves laugh.

They are close to overstaying their welcome these days but it's still pretty funny at times. The poo bungy or whatever it was, was definitely the highlight of the film though. Knoxville's old man disguise is still funny.

It's the distilled purity of the stupidity that makes it endearing. That, and the unbridled joy of the participants. As always, the worst scenes are those involving innocent bystanders. Fortunately, there aren't too many of those in this installment. However, a lot of the other stunts/pranks fall flat, too. Maybe the guys are running out of steam or out of ideas, but there aren't as many laughs this time around. Still, when the laughs do come, they come hard. The guiltiest of guilty pleasures.

While I still had a good amount of laughs, Jackass 3-D doesn't really stack up to the first two films. There's just too much slow motion here (are we sure Zack Snyder wasn't directing this?), and I have to imagine the act is starting to wear on the crew as much as it's running it's course with the viewing audience.

I evidently forgot to rate this. A handful of the stunts blur together me between these movies but I remember this one being the best of the trilogy. I love the dialogue and interactions between the cast and crew. They’re really what make these.

The JACKASS films are hard to critique because they aim so low, and are so easily satisfied with themselves, that any normal standard of criticism seems futile. But is it fun to watch? It sure as hell is. The crew make great company, and their stunts are consistently entertaining to watch--as much for the likability of the participants as for what they actually do. God only knows how it was in 3-D--but Preston Lacy's distilled ass sweat would be nauseating in semaphore. But...that's JACKASS.

You know what you're getting with Jackass, and part three is no different: some genius stunts, gag-inducing grossness and a bit of (often mark-missing) candid camera stuff. The guys are visibly jaded though, and the nostagia running throughout is a clear indication they - like their audience - have had just about enough. It's easily the weakest of the trilogy but still has it's moments: I'll give it a generous mark if only for the beautiful combination of 3D and slow-mo on heavy impacts.

Probably the worst of the jackass films -- which still means it's pretty hilarious. But you start to see their aging, here, and there's the uneasy sense that they should really probably stop.

I really enjoyed seeing this group of guys together again. It was like seeing old friends. It started off really well, and I was laughing a fair bit. But, I gotta say, it kinda went a bit downhill from there. For me, this seemed a lot weaker than the first 2 films. I think it depends in what situation you see it though. Still, overall, I had a good time watching it. You can't really fault the Jackass films because they just are what they are and they don't pretend to be anything else.

It's sad to watch this film in 2-D knowing that it should be in 3-D, one of the errors of the format. However, it doesn't grate too much and I found myself laughing more than I should at the well varied amount of slapstick humour, gross-out gags, surreal scenarios, and general dicking around. The most shocking thing about this movie was discovering how little my love for these guys has changed over a whole decade -- I guess they're some of the finest comedians/stuntmen of our generation.

Had some great moments, especially the midget bar fight with midget cops and midget paramedics gag, but ultimately couldn't live up to the hilarity of the previous installments. I also felt the 3-D was useless. Almost all of it was gratuitous and annoying or unnoticable.

Viewed May 14, 2015. There's a moment in this movie where, after getting kicked in the balls by a donkey, one of the members of the Jackass crew looks at the camera and says something to the effect, "I don't want to do this anymore. Is that alright?" To me, that is the one human moment in Jackass 3D. Outside of that, these people are pretty much just monsters. Jackass is not for me, to say the least.

There were some laughs for sure. I'm afraid the really gross parts that were not funny kind of overshadowed the good parts. I will fully admit that some of the stunts were spectacular. I was even very impressed by some of the really juvinile things like the guy who blew an air dart from his butt and popped a balloon. The Lamborghini tooth pull was also pretty neat. I didn't see a lot of 3-D parts but I didn't watch it in 3-D anyway. Mostly though this movie was pretty gross.

All attempts to make this shit cinematic are bound to fail, but as always, there are some quite hilarious gags and some really phony or lazy ones. You really get bored with it long before it's over. It's not without some slapstick merit, however. Can't quite decide if it's endearingly honest or ruinously idiotic.

A return to form if you will - the crew here have a lot of fun doing wildly dangerous bullshit with the added pain of knowing they are likely too old for this shit. There's less mean spirited stuff and the work they do with the 3D and the slow-motion camera is inspired. Sometimes maybe a bit too gross but it's funny in a way some of the more recent Jackass material failed to capture.

Entertaining but disposable fun. The fact that I'm struggling to recall more than a few specific scenes a day later is testament to this. Some gags overstay their welcome (superglue) and few if any of the ones that work feel truly original. This is to be expected as there are surely only so many Jackass things to do in life, and after the TV series and two films the crew seem to be running out of ideas. It's still fun to watch these guys hurt/torture each other for cheap and crude laughs though.

I swear Hollywood is just too afraid to admit that they're running out (or have been) of good ideas for films. So far it's been sequels, remakes, and sometimes reboots. WAKE UP HOLLYWOOD!
