Janie Gets Married (1946) was the follow-up to Janie (1944), and intended to be a series of films in the vain of Four Daughters (1938), or even the Andy Hardy series, but it stopped with this. A strong and likable cast, almost too heavyweight for such a light affair as this. For this was super light, almost trying to be too hectic to compensate how little story it had to offer. Below average martial which on occasions managed to bring a little laughter.
