Jeepers Creepers: Reborn

Who knew this franchise could get worse. Some of the worst visual effects I have ever seen. If those were real sets/locations then wow...

This franchise went from having a pretty decent first film to 3 completely awful movies back to back, kinda remarkable. *Spoiler* Also, did they really have to kill the one gay character 1 and a half minutes after he first shows up on screen?

I almost turned it off halfway through. Just the first shots of the Creeper made me swear out loud in exasperation and in disgust at how bad it was. You'd think it was a cheap parody.

(spoilers) Seen people rip the effects and costumes apart, and yes, they're awful and distracting in the wrong way. Not many mention the lighting issues as there's so much light that constantly pours in and wrecks the believability/scare factor. But the writing/script flow is easily the biggest problem along with the sets. "We can't get out!" Kick the pallet out of the window. Shoot it with the gun, you've got a gun! Plan to defeat the creeper, let's split up and stab him from the roof? Awful.

Cheap, shitty sets, bad green screen and worse acting. Most of the kills are off-screen. The camera work was distracting but worst of all was the story that seemed to be equal parts Halloween 6 and Halloween: Resurrection with the look of the Pulse sequels.

Totally disagree with critics on this one, who rate it one of the worst horror movies ever made. Yes, the acting and dialogue isn't the best, but the setting is different, and it held me to the end to see how it all turns out.

Souvent zéro ne veut rien dire ! Mais pourquoi mettre 1 point ? 1 point pour quoi ? Le Creeper ressemble à Leprechaun, le couple mixte ridicule, les effets-spéciaux de merde, cette histoire de secte hors-sujet, la fin complètement random. Ne donnez plus jamais d'argent à ce réalisateur ! Surtout si c'est pour une franchise.

This is definitely bad - self-aware, but bad, AND worse as it goes, completely jumping the goofiness shark halfway through. At least this tries, but it can't escape two undeniable facts: #1, it's made poorly by people who either didn't have the money (bland/shotty CGI) or the ability (atrocious performances) to turn this into chicken salad, and #2, literally no-one was clamoring for a fourth/soft reboot of the Creeper franchise. The main protag relationship is indescribably off and incompatible.
