The legend of the outlaw Jesse James has been dramatized many times over the years, but this is the first! And probable worst. Yet, it's historically probable the most fascinating one. The reason for that? Jesse James is played by his own legit son - JESSE JAMES JR.!!! And it's the James' family version of events. This portion of the film tells about Jesse James' life in the confederate army before he became an outlaw. Not sure if one can call what they did acting. More staging of events.
