A pretty decent documentary about John Carpenter that talks to most of the expected folks ... Jamie Lee Curtis, Kurt Russell, Adrienne Barbeau, Debra Hill, Nick Castle ... a handful of outside experts ... George Romero and Mark Kermode ... and Peter Fonda (I mean really, he was in one film). Like Carpenter's career, this starts off really strong and becomes increasingly dull and meandering after "The Thing".
