For 2 hours I listened to a baby crying, bad piano, construction work, a bitchy wife, a wimpy husband, and an annoying "evil" kid with bad hair. Had a great time.

Though Joshua is ultimately too formulaic, its intelligence and suspenseful buildup heighten the overall creep factor.

Joshua excels in its treatment of horror, with an original insight into post-partum depression. The performances, solid direction and gloomy atmosphere only add points to this well constructed family drama.

A little boring but two great performances and a slowly accumulating (and I do mean slowly) sense of madness keep you from kicking yourself on the way out.

There were so many things in this movie that were good...but they seemed to be lost in the script. The main kid was really solid in the folm, as was the gay uncle guy. (Sorry for not knowing who played who) But the mother was so over the top that I never really bought in to her character. Lots of creepy parts. Lots of neat little parts that could be cool, but the acting and the filming makes things not as interesting. Hard to really put my finger on it.

Interesting but weak. Passes as a thriller.

Predictable, relatively tame and surprisingly unengaging. Makes Orphan look like some sort of Hitchcockian masterpiece. If you like crying babies, you'll love this one.

A boring and unsuspenseful film made this an uncompelling watch. The only reason giving for Joshua's behavior is the New Baby,They Don't Love Me, Let's Go Psycho cliche that's been done to death. The only part of this film that was even remotely interesting was the mother's struggle with Post-Postpartum depression. This is the only reason this film didn't score lower then it did.

"Joshua" isn't very thrilling, and don't go straight with shocking moments or special effects, but and that's what I've missing in many other modern Thriller, Joshua creates a very gloomy, unwell often a menacing atmosphere. The misery that comes from that kid is only suggested.Good Movie

Too much crying baby for me to willing put up with for an hour+. I get it that it's there to show mounting stress & crap in the parents, but seriously, who watches a movie to hear a cry baby for an hour
