Josie

Josie is a slow-paced movie that feels much longer than it is and has a dumb twist at the end that hopes to surprise us and make us care but instead has the opposite effect. It tries to lull us into a false sense of security before pulling the blanket off to reveal its true intentions, but by that point most people will have given up caring—and those who haven't will see it coming from a mile away.

Top badass moment? With the right make-up and lighting, even a tortoise can look cute. It’s slow, the story isn’t great, not much happens and the twist is about as much of a surprise as rail fares going up every January. A (pre-Dark) Phoenix, apparently bored with the Seven Kingdoms, goes to a nondescript town in the US and annoys the locals. I admit I fell asleep for a bit, but I think that's about it. It’s probably better than I’ve made it sound. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.
