Dolly Parton has now surpassed Joan Rivers with her face actually resembling the visage of the original Joker of the "Batman" TV series.

2 hour gospel style movie version of Glee where all songs are modified to love and praise the lord... Dolly Parton has so much boobs, hair and botox that sometimes its difficult to concentrate...

True story, I am not a religious man, but I love gospel music. The gospel music is okay, but the story is not.

The movie itself isn't the best. In fact, according to my wife this movie is a watered down ripoff of Sister Act II. Still, when the music was good, it was great. I just couldn't say I liked really any of the characters at all in the movie. I usually love Queen Latifah but she was very unlikable in this. Everyone else was basically a no name actor for every other role. The final music scene was incredibly epic and the wedding scene at the end was quite cute so it gets some points.

The music's pretty good, but this choir seems to do a lot of last minute changes and be perfectly rehearsed, while at one point in the movie dumping on another choir for being too rehearsed after they had ringers. The movie can't entirely decide whose story it's telling and it makes it a bit of a mess.

Pretty good movie with uplifting morals. The whole movie had constant songs so it kinda felt like a musical. Dolly Parton's song and the last song they did were really well done. The acting was all okay but the story was rushed and underwritten in parts.

If you want to see Parton and Latifah scream and throw dinner roles at each other, here you go. Writer/director Todd Graff (from "The Abyss") gives himself a super brief cameo during the final musical number.

It was funny but kind of boring. Maybe a guilty pleasure type movie.

No one in Joyful Noise, save Dexter Darden, can act a lick, and the film's climactic musical number is one of the most pandering pieces of cinema I've seen in recent years, but there are germs of a good, wish-fulfillment type movie somewhere in there, buried miles deep below Dolly Parton's plastic shell.

If you like Gospel music and don't mind watching a remake of Sister Act/every singing-competition-movie there is, this ain't too bad y'all. *Okay
