They have to actually set up characters because everything is new and it works out really well. Best animated production by DC.

Thoughtful and fun! Bringing the DCAU style to a morally gray storyline really works, keeping it lively while making it complex. There are a few "look how adult we are!" moments, but overall, it uses violence as a storytelling tool instead of a crutch. Plus, the new Justice League are both fascinating plays on the characters of the comics, and interesting in and of themselves.

Actually one of my favorite DCAU now. The master that is Bruce Timm is back, and better than ever. Given this whole playground, Bruce benefits as a storyteller and we benefit as a viewer. The voice actors are wonderful for their roles, and the characters are very fleshed out for those we have only met once. Awesome.

A lot better than I expected. I dug the differing origin stories of all the heroes and the suspense surrounding the mystery in the main plot was pretty good. The pay-off was pretty lame but the overall package is pretty good if perhaps limited in what it could explore.

Fascinating and intriguing set-up detailing altered back-stories of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman as tougher, more brutal versions of their traditional selves is begging for a sequel where these characters can be explored further - the novelty of the characters and their new interrelationships make up for a fairly trite "superhero" narrative, though the thoughtful dissections of the morality of the superhero is far more interesting than similar storylines in their live action counterparts!

Felt like a cheap excuse of an alternate reality.

I appreciate the effort to try something new but didn't totally connect.

I got into the previous Justice League release Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (2015), but for some reason Justice League: Gods and Monsters (2015) didn't appeal in the same way. The main character in a mildly darker incarnation made it difficult to get into anybody, and honestly this plot was plain dull relying totally on the different attitude of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman and not much else.

Tamamen özgün bir hikaye eşliğinde son derece değişik ana karakterlerle neredeyse gerçek film tadında güzel bir çizgi sinema. Tempo zaman zaman düşse de, hikayenin sürprizli olması sebebiyle sıkılmadan zevkle izleniyor. Ana karakterlerimizin fanlarına belki bu değişiklik fazla gelecektir ama göz ardı etmek gerek film başarılı.

The plot and Bad Guy's motivations were terrible and really brought the movie down. I still enjoyed the goth variation overall even if I'd prefer that they stopped all the multiverse crap.
