Justice League vs the Fatal Five

I just can never get into the Legion of Super Heroes and when the Justice League are the background characters of a Justice League movie it's only worse.

This movie is about the fatal 5 going back in the past to kidnap Jessica Cruiz who is the female green lantern. So they get her to free this awesome powerful women enemy. They try to delete the history of the Justice league until Jessica and Thomas prevent that from happening. This movie wasn't even about the Justice league fighting the fatal 5. This movie was ok. It wasn't good or anything.

I was so confused for most of this movie. I liked seeing the new characters and I especially liked Star Man but I just could not follow along with what was going on. I would probably watch it again and maybe I will re-review it but it didn't sit well with me the first time.

All around, this had the potential to introduce new characters in interesting ways, but instead trips over its own feet coming out the door with sloppy, shallow writing.

Plot, motivations and Jessica's shallow character arc are weak and this weakness get this movie farther from being good. Yes new faces is great, yes nostalgia is right there, animations, music, choreographies and battles are all ok. But Plot and screenplay kinda moot. And also movie is so inconsistent about the capabilities of our heroes. At one scene Superman were strugling with hold a building but at another scene he flew over Sun and took a supernova like a blast and he was ok ?!

Don't have to introduce new superheroes all the time. This new guy was a bore, and the entire animation film fell victim of that. Just focus on making a good adventure with the other million heroes you have at your disposal instead of watering things down even more.
