Succeeds in creating a fantastic atmosphere, but drags it story out a bit too much.

I heart ELENA FARR........ no but seriously - noone else has gotten around to rating this? The dumbwaiter sequence is a sloooowww hangover hell-ride - a somnambulent, soulless sojourn! The poor sidekick, always getting demeaned, but looking so cool (albeit indignant from being temporarily fired) as he drives off in his monster three-wheeled chopper.

17. !f İstanbul - Kanyon.

About as batshit insane as one would expect a pulpy dystopian sci-fi/noir pastiche starring Rainer Werner Fassbinder (who's florescent pink and leopard print getup worn throughout the film makes him look like some sort of "futuristic" pimp) and a slew of his usual actors to be. Seems like it was probably a lot of fun to make, even if Fassbinder looks so disconcertingly ravaged and bloated that it's not at all surprising that he'd be dead by the end of the year the film was made.
