Estella Warren is the kind of beautiful that doesn't necessarily translate to acting.

Oh yes, it's bad for sure, but my hatred might have been dulled by the onslaught of even more horrid films I've seen the last two years. Things like men in cardboard robot suits, CGI kamikaze birds that explode, twin Adam Sandlers, a midget basketball team, talking chihuahuas, and more Rob Schneider than can be good for me. In the face of all that, I didn't need thát much booze to sit through Kangaroo Jack without wanting to crawl into a corner, pee, and die.

If a film has Jerry O'Connell in it and he isn't fat, then you know it will be shit.

My expectations were low, but it actually was not THAT shitty. It does have a shitty looking CGI piece of shit of a kangaroo, and everytime you see him, you hear a dumb hiphop tune playing on the background. My boyfriend chuckled a few times, shame on him

Honestly giving this a high score only because of my love for anything Australian. I did not like Jerry in this film at. all. Anthony gave me a few laughs, though. Despite the title, this film really isn't about the kangaroo. There were unnecessary characters and scenes, even the kangaroo wasn't needed, and this film just could've been a lot better. Yet, I still find myself sneaking in the DVD player from time to time.

Why did Christopher Walken accept this?! You have alot of explaining to do Walken! ::crosses arms::

Every scene with the Kangaroo is for kids, every other scene is for adults. Neither children nor parents can derive any entertainment from watching it. I feel almost as ripped off as when I watched Be Kind, Rewind - the most egregious example of trailer/film dissonance I have ever known.

More fun than a movie about a talking CGI kangaroo should be; perhaps strangely (wisely?) relegates the title character to the role of inconsequential MacGuffin, instead focusing on the fun team of O’Connell, Anderson and Warren in some light-hearted comic adventures. Good work from its eclectic support cast certainly helps, with Walken, Hunter and pre-stardom Shannon bringing an extra weight and heft to their skimpy roles; a modest success, but a somewhat surprisingly well-wrought one.

It's yet another bad film from a producer who sees films as merely vehicles for profit rather than for pleasure, with about as much heart and soul as a CGI rendered kangaroo would have.

Who exactly was this movie supposed to appeal to? Gotta love a movie that bases its whole ad campaign off a single scene that isn't representative of the movie as a whole.

I saw this movie for one reason: to see a talking kangaroo. It could literally have no plot and just a kangaroo reading the United States Constitution and I would give this movie a 50 at least. So disappointed...

It's fun for maybe one time if you can allow yourself to just sit back and enjoy a rather pointless and stupid film. I admit, it's not as bad as I thought it would be but still pretty horrid.

I save 69 ratings for guilty pleasures, or the nostalgia trips. This is both because I loved it as a kid, but now that i'm older I see how REALLY fucking stupid this movie is, but to me it's like a good kind of stupid that makes you go "WTF" at how ridiculous it is, plus I just plain love Christopher Walken and that silly as hell pointless dream sequence. Not good, but to be honest not complete shit. Kids will enjoy it as well.

a likeable cast is wasted with a wisecracking kangaroo that should damn well remember that in Australia we EAT kangaroos (and the only country that eats it's national symbol)

I tried to like it. I tried to ignore the voice in my head, telling me this movie sucked. I got almost to the end, and I gave up. Despite being a fan of the cast outside this movie, this film was pretty shitty. Like last season of Sliders shitty.
