Chico arrives in a city where there are two waring gangs. Sonny Chiba's take on Yojimbo, set in modern Japan. Chiba is a lone fighter who wanders into a town controlled by two rival gangs, etc. This movie adds in a little subplot about Chiba reuniting the son of a man he kills with his mother, which slows the action down a bit; but the fiery finale where Chiba takes on 20 yakuza with swords on the beach is definitely worth a look.
