Polish short that relies too heavily on the final few seconds to really recommend. Decent CGI, even if the whole thing does just feel like the opening scene of a PlayStation fantasy game.

Stunning animation and a hidden meaning create something really worth watching.

Man, this reminds me so much of Diablo II.... in a good way, of course.

Beautiful and captivating

The overpowering music just about kills this for me. That said, the cathedral building itself is beautifully animated, while the film tells something of an ambiguous story about a pilgrim exploring this futuristic Gothic structure. That the explorers become part of the beautiful building suggests a positive rendering of the religious implications, but that they seem trapped suggests something much darker.

Almost one-man driven animation and one of the best adaptation of scripts ever, I must say. I'm a fan of Baginski so it may look a little bit unbalanced as a review. Detailed as for short staff production, atmosphere kills you and makes you feel uncomfortably and anxious. Gives you something to think about. Recommend both - Dukaj's story and Baginski's vision.
