Keep Your Powder Dry (1945) is a real cute attempt at the military camp genre. All dolled-up and taking the macho out of the army, adding lipstick. Lana Turner the spoiled party girl, Laraine Day a army brat and Susan Peters as the wholesome good girl. And I liked the chemistry. I'm not denying that this pure predictable fluff, just using the contemporary trends and using it for a girly flick, but I felt they managed to tune it nicely for a fun experience.
