The romantic part is pretty standard, but there are a lot of gags to keep you entertained and most of them work really well.

the story itself is the usual love story. But there are several brilliant dialoges (at least in the german version) and situations that make you constantly laugh.

Schweigers world seems to revolve entirely around himself. It's funny to see him try to make himself out to be a gigolo, which he isn't at all. The only thing that makes me sleep well at night and excuses the existence of this film is me imagining how shitty all the actresses must have felt reading the lines about Schweigers character being really good in bed. (Or at least I hope)

I'm sure that Til Schweigers entire universe builds around those real talks about men and women the characters have here all the time when they sit around a table and drink wine. Schweigers (disgusting!) character has its flaws but of course he can overcome them and liberate the uptight kindergarten teacher. But how could anyone on earth resist his seductive mumbling?

Good start - gets boring in the middle and you will know after 20 minutes how this movie is going to end.

Not funny, not touching, not good. An awfully bad written wannabe-drama from and about a boy, who wishes he was famous and awesome. Which he is not. Epic fail.

It's a fun movie with plenty of plot holes and mistakes but acting is ok along with story.

Predictable, rather uninspired and a fairly standard love story, but there is a certain charm to it. The dialogue is great and although there are quite a few duds, there are some pretty great laughs.
