Khaspush

Soviet-Armenian film and there is trouble at the market place! I didn't get much what was going on early on. Much to do with me not understanding Armenian. But from a visual and cultural point of view there are a lot of interesting things to look for. The riots are good, so are the main characters, especially the nasty looking one, but otherwise the pacing is very uneven. Still I felt there was a hint of greatness in this Armenian silent film which doesn't seem to have much of a reputation.
