The Nostalgia Critic, internet guru of bad movies, discovers the existence of the Republic of Molossia. He rallies his fellow reviewers and invades. Declaring himself President-for-Life, he renames the realm Kickassia, the most nonsensical country in the world. But soon, the Critic has turned into a despot, and when his friends discover he's wired Kickassia with 20 tons of dynamite, they have to remove him from power before things go horribly wrong. (imdb)

PV. I could stand like 10 minutes of it. Watching it is as painful as anything made by Nostalgia Critic.

More than a pet project, I feel the film is a showcase of personalities at their most self-indulgent, pandering to the most esoteric. But we shouldn't conflate irreverence with comedy, or low-budget with low standards: the film is what it is.

I was expecting this to not hold up, for a number of reasons, and a lot of it definitely doesn't. But I was surprised how many gags do still work (mostly in the first 20 minutes). I almost hate to admit it, but it sort of works. Sort of.

Definitely better if you have familiarity with the personas on TGWTG website, but it is still an enjoyable watch, as you can tell that they're not taking themselves seriously at all.

If Suburban Knight was enjoyable very much on its own merits (and it was) then this is for those looking for injokes and running gags. And honestly I think very few people who would views this one aren't.

Defiantly worth it if you are a TGWTG fan if not then you may be confused to some of the stuff that goes on in this movie. That's not to say you won't enjoy it oh goodness no.
