Killing Eleanor edges on poignancy with its plot of dying on your own terms, but stresses the dramatic elements while half-heartedly dealing with the comedic ones. Marks and O'Hara have good chemistry and their strong performances make the film work. Otherwise a fairly ordinary road-trip tale with a few odd music choices.
