Good performances from Hurt and Julia, but a little too self-indulgent and arty for my taste.

I liked Luis' stories best of all, and wished there were more.

it was all about the two annoyingly stereotyped characters!! filming behind the bars for two long hours is appreciable but not for my taste.

Dumb but entertaining film. The first half really bugged me, there are enough of very stagey film adaptions of plays and books, but around halfway through the film I realized that this isn't 'about' silly melodramas. This is a silly melodrama.

Em honra de Patricio Bisso (1957 - 2019) e David Weisman (1942 - 2019). Esse filme estava precisando mesmo de uma revisão em HD, não o vejo desde uma cópia xexelenta em VHS nos anos 90 e talvez por isso mesmo cresceu demais nessa revisão, é um belíssimo filme e tem todos os méritos para ser elogiado e também me faz ficar ainda mais ressabiada por nunca ter lido Manuel Puig até agora e a história ter relegado o Leonard Schrader a ser irmão do Paul.
