Kizhakkunarum Pakshi

Ananthu (Mohanlal), a music conductor & director, helps his girlfriend Meera (Rekha) become a playback singer, but he is forced to take a backseat when Meera, under duress from her mother (Unnimary), snubs Ananthu for Gopikrishna (Shankar), the leading male playback singer. After his mother dies in an attack meant for him & his father leaves town, Ananthu leaves for the US to practice music.
