Knute Rockne All American

No idea why it took me so long to get to this true classic movie. Loved it! True life story of Knute Rockne, Notre Dame football player and coach.

A film which made it into Presidential speeches some 40 years after it's release. Where Ronald Reagan drops in and drops dead. Story of the perfect American.... a Norwegian. As coach Pat O'Brien's young man's make-up makes the aging actor look even older then he was. Make-up aside, this was the type of role O'Brien could do in his sleep, and it sort of seemed like that's what he did. On a positive it was nice to hear real Norwegian instead of gibberish from John Qualen.
