A classic in its country, Sijan's "Ko to tamo peva" was penned by leading Serbian screenwriter Dusan Kovacevic and is quintessentially Yugoslav; a rural low comedy ending on a serious note, interspersed with accordion-and-jawharp-wielding gypsies singing choruses relating to the narrative. Films like this have since been outdone by Kusturica but even so it's great fun.

One of best movies ever... but again, not so interesting when translated :(

Most of the film lacks a little energy, but still it keeps on chugging along. A lot of amusing little moments and a bit of deeper commentary pops up from time to time.

Tayfa kitabevini dakikalarca aradiktan sonra bulup filme biraz gec yetistigim, bittigindeyse salondaki insanlarin kultur bonbardimanina tuttugu filmdi, bana Tunc Okan'in otobusunu hatirlatti, sevmedigim yani ise oyunculuklar tiyatrosaldi karikaturize olmus sekilde diger anlamda guzel bir film izlenebilir.

I don't even know what I can think about this movie. It's either the worst thing I've ever seen, or one of the best. There is no possible middle ground, but that's what I have to rate it.

The movie is extremely good fun, but it does not leave you only laughing - you will think a lot about life after seeing it. Characters, music, the bus - everything is fascinating. No. 1 in my list...

Nice movie from the Balkans, I much prefer this one to 'Maratonci Trce Pocasni Krug'. I guess much of the humour does get lost with translation though, as some of the Serbian users have pointed out.

really terrible movie & waste of time. has absurdity; not funny. summary: about dozen-ten people try to travel with a junk pile bus through the field, (war>roads closed) this is all. has a really irritating music during this travel. old man travels to town to send his son some money. he drops the wallet, other passengers think that akordeon player gipys brothers stool the money. as they are beating this gipysies bombard had started.so all of them died but gipsy boys survived.

t's clear that there's a lot of cultural satire in the film. The passengers seem to be a cross section of Serbian society ... a pair of gypsies who act as a kind of Greek chorus, a newly married young couple, a preening lothario who sings, an old man bringing money to his son who has joined the army, an uptight middle class man, a hunter ... but my outsider status makes recognizing their significance difficult. I enjoyed it a lot, but I don't see what makes it regarded as a great work.

What the fuck is up with the bouncy music? Anyways, considering the massive praise this has gotten, I thought this was a pretty bad road trip movie. Not all that funny and nothing much interesting happens to be a worthwhile experience. Nobody to really care for or any character arc. The ending is the most significant thing that occurs in it. Even then it feels forced and doesn't really work.
