Sinan is a blind poet. He has lost his ability to see when he is three. Yet, he is at peace with his blindness. Nilgün, his wife, wants him to see the world and convinces him to have an operation. While the operation is successful, Sinan's adaptation process to this new world creates tension in his relationship with his wife.
