Well that sure was something. If I'd seen that when I was the target age I probably would have been both creeped out and bored. Then again I loved Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when I six, so maybe I would've been into it. By now though I've had enough weird psychedelic experiences to kind of relate. Parrot's talking to me & I dropped the jam jar, fuck I need to get out of here before gramma gets back.

An interesting fantasy adventure told here. Neat to see some of the thoughts and life of early 60s in the Soviet Union, albeit keeping in mind this is a fantasy flick.

Came for thinly-veiled political allegory, and it delivered, sort of --na nggnpx ba gur jrfg'f cebcntnaqn bs gur gvzr-- . Trouble is I found it's -Very- 60's fairytale veneer unbearable.
