The first World War rages on when a group of American soldiers find a mysterious artifact that can summon the ancient evil of the Krampus. After the men are killed in action, the artifact is sent to the commanding officer's widow who is a teacher at a small-town orphanage. Seems about right to make you wait an hour for Krampus to show up and then have most of his introduction be him standing in a room talking with a terrible voice. Normally I'd skip this kind of shit but I'm cheering for Krampus. It's very low-budget so some things need to be forgiven but you don't need a good budget to make a good script or a movie that is paced well. This is slow, nonsensical, and boring. Krampus has no menace.
