Kufsa Sh'hora

This Israeli drama is based on the complex novel of love, obsession, and politics by Amos Oz, one of Israel's foremost authors. The protagonist is Ilana a beautiful divorcee. Though she and ex-husband Alex, an internationally recognized scholar, split up seven years ago, she still carries his torch. That she has since remarried and has a daughter, she cannot get Alex out of her heart. He lives in London. They share an adolescent son who keeps running away in search of independence. (allmovie.com)
